WANKULUKUKU – Kirinya JSS will have a chance to kick-start their league campaign when they take on Nyamityobora at Wankulukuku on Tuesday afternoon.
Charles Ayieko’s side have started the season in disappointing fashion, winning only one of their first six games.
The Students have also endured to heavy defeats already this season including the 3-0 loss at home to Onduparaka and losing 4-1 away to Bright Stars in their last outing.
Despite scoring as many as seven goals in their first six games, Kirinya has let in 12 at the other end, an average of two per game.
Their recent poor showing at the back can easily be attributed to the loss of Livingstone Mulondo who left for Vipers in the summer but with Isaac Isinde in their ranks, it is just a matter of time and the issue is sorted.
For Nyamityobora, they head into Tuesday’s game on the back of an inspiring 0-0 draw away to URA on Friday in which their goalkeeper, Hillary Jomi saved a late penalty.
The point gained at Namboole is part of only four that James Odoch’s side have accumulated this season.
With relegation looking more and more of a possibility for them this season, they will need to start winning games as soon as possible.
