The FUFA Big League kicked off on Thursday 01 October with nine matches across the country.
12 goals were scored on day one with only one away victory registered.
In the Rwenzori Group, Kitara held Proline FC to a goalless draw.
This was Proline’s first match back in the second tier after they were relegated from the first division at the close of last season.

At Wankulukuku, Kireka United cruised past a hapless Ntinda side, defeating them 3-0.
Derrick Jurua, Job Owori and Reagan Male were all on target for the away side who go straight at the top of the group.
In the other game, Kiboga Young were 1-0 victors over Water FC.
Peter Lumolo was the hero of the day for the home side, scoring the all important goal.
In Mbale, Kabale Sharp played out a one all draw with Dove.
Ronald Kyamanywa put the visitors ahead but bragging right would be shared as Fred Kalanzi scored from the spot to pull Dove level.
Efforts by either sides to win it were fruitless as they shared the spoils in the end.
In the other game played in the Rwenzori Group, Kansai Plascon were 1-0 winners over Kira United.
In the Elgon Group, League favourites Wakiso Giants were held to a 2-2 draw by Amuka Bright Stars.
James Baker put the host ahead inside four minutes but their lead lasted only three minutes as former Express FC forward, Abdulkarim Kasule leveled for the visitors.
In the second half, substitute Clinton Komugisha handed Wakiso their first lead in the game and they thought they would be headed for a famous victory.
However, Bronson Nsubuga had other ideas, scoring late in the game to ensure that his side take home a point after the final whistle.
After the game, Wakiso Giants head coach, Ibrahim Kirya could not hide his delight that his side had managed to get a point away to Amuka Bright Stars.
“It was a good game according to me as a coach because they boy played well in unfamiliar circumstances, said Lira.
“Despite the situation, we have managed to get a point at the end of the day.
“Yes we conceded a lousy goal due to a defensive mix up but am happy with the results.
“We were scared going into the game but since we have gotten a point from it, hopefully the whole campaign goes well.
In the game played at Bombo, UPDF drew 0-0 at home to Entebbe.
At the Green Light Stadium in Arua, Dove All Stars were also held to a goalless draw at home to Kataka.
The last game of the day saw JMC Hippos triumph over Bukedea Town Council.
Crespo Asiku scored the game’s only goal to hand the visitors their first victory of the season.
The next fixture of the Big League will see Nebbi Central host Kataka at the Nebbi play grounds on Saturday.
