Saturday, 08-12-2018 @04:00pm
LUGOGO – KCCA FC will be hoping to strengthen their grip onto top spot of the SUPL on Saturday afternoon when they host Ndejje University at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.
The Kasasiro Boys start the day three points clear of the chasing pack and know a win will ensure they are still top after Match-Day 10, regardless of the other results.
Despite coming up against a side that has lost six games already in the season, KCCA FC head coach-Mike Mutebi assured that his side will take the game seriously.
“We are taking the game seriously, said Mutebi ahead of the game.
“It is a precursor for our continental game and we know a win will boost our confidence and belief, so we will take them (Ndejje) seriously and try to win beautifully.
KCCA FC are boosted by the return to full fitness of several key players. Saddam Juma, Muzamir Mutyaba and Gift Ali have all shaken off injury and are expected to feature so Mutebi will have a full strength squad to choose from on Saturday.
For Ndejje University, all is not well at the moment following head coach, Raymond Komakech’s attack on fans in their last game. The tactician attacked a section of fans who hurled insults at him during the 0-0 draw at home to Kirinya JSS but reports indicate that the situation was sorted by both parties after the game.
The University side currently occupy the last relegation spot on the table with 7 points from their first 9 games but if they van somehow grind out a result away to KCCA, it will be a huge boost and possibly kick start their season.
