MBARARA – New comers Nyamityobora and Ndejje University will face off for the first time in a Star Times Uganda Premier League game at Kakyeka Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The last time these two teams faced off was during the ceremonial match that crowned the 2017/18 FUFA Big League, with Ndejje University winning 1-0 courtesy of Noel Nasasira’s strike.
Both sides have struggled for form since being promoted and currently occupy two of the three relegation slots.
What the coaches are saying ahead of the game:
Asaph Mwebaze (Nyamitobora FC).
“This is going to be our first game at Kakyeka Stadium and our fans are going to come in big numbers, so we are not planning to disappoint them.
“My team is ready to take on Ndejje and all my players are fine, so am going to try and win this game.
Raymond Komaketch (Ndejje SS).
“We have played Nyamitobora before in Big League so there is nothing new for them to prove, it’s been a long journey from Luwero and all I want is a win.
“The boys want this win as much as I do, so am positive we are going to fetch those three points”.
Team news.
Ndejje University back-line led by their towering captain Raymond Odokonyero alongside Edward Kabona will need to be at their best throughout the game if they are to get decent results away from home.
For Nyamitobora FC, they will rely on the services of Saddam Ogwang there goal keeper to keep a clean sheet at home.
Komaketch will also look up to Charles Musiige, Juma and Dada, Brian Mugisha.

This is going to be the first encounter in the top flight.
Both clubs lie in the red zone. Ndejje has 8points in the 14th position while Nyamitobora has 4 (points) seated in the 15th place.
Ndejje has so far managed two wins this season whereas Nyamitobora has only one in as many games played.
