KAMPALA – Police FC are understood to have agreed a loan deal for Wakiso Giants goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi.
Mugabi who just signed for the Big League Money-Bags from the Zambian Premier League is however having his move stalled due to a a FUFA rule that has become increasingly unpopular.
According to one of the FUFA rules governing the current secondary players registration window, ‘a player lost voluntarily will not be replaced’.
Police lost two players including Ben Ocen and Kimera Tayimour, to trails overseas and are not certain if both fall in the category of players lost voluntarily.
If it is the case and Police may just have see the Mugabi deal fall through.
It is believed that Police and Wakiso have already agreed to see Norman Ojik move to the Purple Sharks once Mugabi is free to also join the Cops.
