ENTEBBE – Club Sportif Sfaxien has this afternoon arrived ahead of their first leg clash against Vipers SC in a CAF Confederations Cup on Saturday.
After dropping out of the CAF Champions League, the Uganda Premier League champions will be all out to try and eject the experienced CS Sfaxien side to make it to the group stage.
“We are here to win and my players know what I expect from them,” said the club’s much traveled coach Ruud Krol on arrival.
The experienced Dutch born coach said his target is to win the Confederations Cup with CS Sfaxien.
“The players know what is expected of them and we must battle to deliver,” he added.
CS Sfaxien will however miss the services of Serge Arnaud Aka who signed for Egyptian Premier League team El Gouna FC two weeks ago.
Vipers SC sacked Mexican tactician Javier Martinez Espinosa late last month because following bad results.
Nigerian referee Salisu Basheer and assistants Isah Usman and Peter Eigege Ogwu will be in-charge of the match.
The return leg will be played in Sfax city, Tunisia on January 19th with the overall winner of the tie will advance to the group stages.
