
Uganda Cranes midfielder, Yasser Mugerwa had departed Ethiopian side Fassil Kenema FC.
The former Orlando Pirates player is understood to have mutually terminated his contract with the Gonder based side.
Through a post on his social media platforms, Mugerwa confirmed the proceedings.
“It was nice working with you, every time I played I sacrificed for the beautiful fans but sometimes we have no choice life has to move on, said Mugerwa.
“I will miss every moment because Gondar had become a second home away from home, players had become brothers… I wish the club the best and may Allah give me the best at my new home. Always an Emperor.
Mugerwa who signed for Fassil in 2017 still had five months left on his contract but due to personal issues, he will not continue as their player.
He joined Fassil from St George FC in 2017, signing a two year deal that was set to expire in July.
Before going to Ethiopia, he had a brief stint at South African-Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
His next destination remains a mystery as Mugerwa is yet to disclose it.
Ethiopia remains home to three other Ugandans other Ugandans including Robert Odongkara (Adama City), Isma Watenga (Ethiopia Coffee) and Chrizestom Ntambi (Ethiopia Coffee).
