
After months of inactivity, Uganda Cranes defender Alex Kakuba has finally found a club.
Kakuba parted ways with Greek side PAS Giannina last December and has been working around the clock to secure a new home.
He is understood to have joined Armenian topflight side Lori FC Vanadzor as a freeagent.
“Thank you God for this new opportunity in my life. I cannot wait to start, said Kakuba upon signing for Loris FC.
The former Proline FC left back has been handed shirt number 3 on arrival.
His new club Lori Football Club is fifth on the 10-team log with 30 points garnered from 20 games played so far.

Kakuba joins Eugene Ssepuya, Noah Babadi Kasule and Daniel Muzeeyi Serunkuuma as Ugandan players who have plied their trade in the Armenian league.
Kakuba has also had a handful of appearances in the national team colours with the recent coming in the goalless draw against Malawi in a friendly match at Namboole early last year.
He has previously featured for Esperança Lagos, Desportivo De Agueda, Sporting Covilha, Estoril Praia and CD Feirense in Portugal between 2012-2018.
