StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo
Wednesday, 13-03-2019 @4pm
LUGOGO – Police FC will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host relegation-bound Paidha at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo on Wednesday afternoon.
Police whose season has been mired by inconsistency, have not won in any of their last 5 league games.
The unwelcome form has seen Abdallah Mubiru’s side drop into 10th on the log, 10 points above the relegation spot.
Against Paidha, Police cannot have an easier chance of win again as they come up against a rock bottom side.
However, Mubiru is taking no chances especially after his side was a few months ago humiliated at home by Nyamityobora, another side occupying the bottom two.
“We have not been winning games lately so we have no provision of slippin up again, said Mubiru ahead of the game.
“However, we have to be on guard as their are no easy games in the League.
“Paidha are currently fighting for their lives and will offer resistance but we hope to do whats necessary to win the game.
For Paidha, they are indeed fighting for their lives in the top tier.
Currently, they are bottom of the pile with only 12 points accumulated since the start of the season.

Three losses in as many games sums up their showing this season and a fourth on the trot would all but see them relegated.
Match Facts:
This will only be the second time that Police and Paidha face off in the top tier.
In the first one, Paidha defeated Police 2-1 in Arua, their only victory in the firat round.
Going into the game, Police are winless in their last 5 games (D2 L3). Their last victory in the league was the 1-0 win at home to Ndejje University on 9th February.
