
Event: Rugby Floodlights Tournament

KYADONDO – Kyadondo Rugby Grounds will be the place to be as the all Stars rugby floodlights tournament slated for Good Friday, 19th April 2019, takes center stage.
The idea behind the All Stars rugby floodlights is to create a different concept where different stars, form teams and play for fun.
In this edition of the games, fans will also be required to form a team that will compete with the star-teams.
Part of the Uganda Rugby Sevens series, the games are promising new talent. Registered so far are eight teams of 12 players ready for the Sevens games.
Some of the stars featuring in the All Stars rugby floodlights tournament include Ivan Magomu, Adrian Kasito, Ivan Makmot, and Richard Lumu among others.
Teams and their captains:
A number of teams as Sports Day led by Adrian Kasito, Wagagai (Ivan Magomu), Peninsula (Andrew Olweny), Acholi Muding (Robert Masendi), Plan B (Gabriel Aredo, Gladiators (Richard Lumu), Segirinya (Paul Masendi) and the Dumbbell Cheetahs captained by Ivan Makmot will be on the competing for the top honours.
Prize Money:
-A total of UGX 7,500,00 will be given out to exceling teams and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) inclusive.
-Teams will be battling for UGX 3,200,000 for the winner.
-UGX 2,300,000 is earmarked for the first runners up, UGX 1,500,000 for the second runners up.
– UGX 500,000 is the prize money for the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
-There will also be trophies and medals to be given out.
Uganda Rugby Union (URU) is joined by other key partners as Guiness, Next Radio, Kratos Sports, and City Ambulance to ensure that it will be a fun filled event starting at about 4pm.
A lineup of some of the greatest entertainment acts has been laid to ensure that revelers enjoy their evening as they unwind from the long day, and get into the Easter mood.
Veteran DJs, Ssesse, and Alza will be on the decks while Bantu Vibes, Rhythm Music 256, and J-Wats will be entertaining fans with energetic and bold performances.
Organizers are also promising a number of surprise DJs and artists to make the game night worth remembering.
Entrance to the games will be UGX 10,000 for ordinary, and UGX 50,000 for VIP which comes with Guinness.
