Prolie FC will be hoping to take a giant step towards a return to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, when they take on Kiboga Young in the Big League on Thursday afternoon.
Shafick Bisaso’s charges are currently in the driving seat, leading the Rwenzori Group by three points after accumulating 37 from their 17 games.
Coming off a 9-0 victory over Bumate last time out, Proline will be feeling confident against one of their direct rivals in the Group.
”They are a good side but we are ready to attack them from start to finish, says Bisaso when asked about the game against Kiboga.
“We won 9-0 against Bumate United which is a good result that gives us confidence coming to the Kiboga Young game.
Kiboga Young, who lost 4-2 away to Kira United in their last game, have the impetus and due advantage having won 2-1 during the reverse fixture between the two sides at Lugogo.
With only four points separating them in the standings, the game promises to be a thriller and one which may in the end determine the fate of the group.
Kiboga are currently third with 33 points from 17 games.
In the other Rwenzori games, Kabale Sharp takes on already relegated Ntinda United at the Kabale Municipal Stadium while Bumate United entertains Dove from Masindi.
In the Elgon group, the biggest game of the day will see second placed Kyetume take on third placed Azizi Damani sponsored Doves All Stars at the Green Light Stadium in Arua.
Kyetume have 31 points so far while Dove are one point behind them.

With UPDF (28) also in the mix for a playoff spot, Kyetume and Dove know that there is no room for error as a playoff spot may be relinquished by either side in the end, in case of a loss or draw on Thursday.
Wakiso are leading the Elgon Group with 37 points but are not in action until next week when they host Entebbe FC at Bugembe.
In the other Elgon Group game, Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos makes the long trip to Lira to face Amuka Bright Stars at the PTC playground.
