Proline FC vs Bumate FC
StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo
Wednesday, 17-04-2019 @4pm
LUGOGO – Proline will be hoping to take a giant step towards sealing promotion when they host Bumate FC at the Startimes Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Shafick Bisaso’s side currently enjoy a one point advantage of the Rwenzori Group in the Big League but know that they still have work to do in order to seal promotion to the top tier.
Against Bumate, they have a glorious chance to move clear at the top as their opponents have nothing more to play for in the division.
Bumate who were docked six points for failing to honour League fixtures against Dove FC and Kabale Sharp, have zero points and are bottom of the Group.
With only four points separating Proline and Dove FC in fourth, there is no room for error for Bisaso’s side.
“We are facing a hard team but we are going to fight so hard to get those points, said Bisaso ahead of the game.
“We don’t have any small game left for us, we lead the log with one point but that doesn’t put pressure on us”.
The hosts who won the first encounter between the two sides, 3-0 away from home, thanks to Arnold Sserunjogi, Mustafa Mujuzi and Hakin Kiwanuka strikes, will miss the services of skipper Noordin Bunjo and experienced centre half Mustafa Mujuzi through suspension. They will also be without injured Ismail Kabugu. The good news coming from the treatment room is that defender Saka Mpiima has returned from injury and is ready to play.
A win for Proline will drive them to 37 points from 17 games and will wait for what comes out from the matches involving direct rivals Kiboga, Kansai Plascon and Dove FC who all play tomorrow (Thursday).
