KCCA FC vs Maroons FC
StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo
Saturday, 04-05-2019
LUGOGO – After winning the League with two games to spare, KCCA FC will finally be handed their title on Saturday afternoon when they host Maroons at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.
For any other team, this could have been a formality game but not for KCCA as they target winning it and finishing with their best points tally since Mike Mutebi came in as head coach.
“When you look at the stats, this may yet be the best season we have had, said Mutebi after his side were declared champions following a 1-1 draw at Ndejje last week.
“We have scored more goals and if we win the remaining games, we will win it with a record tally.
“So going into the last games, our target is to win both of them.
Going into the game, the Kasasiros will still be without the injured trio of Julius Poloto, Mike Mutyaba and Muwadda Mawejje. Mutebi is once again expected to rotate his squad and hand minutes to the like of Jamal Malyamungu, Sadat Anaku and Bernard Muwnga.
For Maroons, they can take a breather at the moment after spending the last month or two with relegation concerns.

The Prisons’ side secured their top tier status in the last game and will go into this one wanting to just finish on a high.
In the past, they have caused KCCA issues as they have lost only one of their last three encounters with the Kasasiro. Bearing that in the mind, Maroons will indeed provide KCCA with a match worthy of coronation.
Match Facts
This will be the 10th encounter between the two sides since October 2010.
In the past 9, KCCA have triumphed on six occasions with Maroons winning only once and the other two ending in draws.
