WANKULUKUKU – Express Chairperson Kiryowa Kiwanuka also known as ‘KK’ looks to have broken a host of Express FC’s fans’ hearts.
Kiwanuka who was named club Chairperson just under a year ago, came out and assured head coach George Ssemwogerere will remain the head coach of Express until the tactician decides to leeave.
“Unless he throws in a towel, he is still our head coach and he has the full backing of the management, Kiwanuka stressed while in an interview with a local Radio Station.
This all comes amidst constant cries by several Red Eagles fans, asking for Ssemwogerere to be fired.
Ssemowgerere looked to be done and dusted after Express lost to Bright Stars on penalties in the Uganda Cup semifinal earlier this month as fans tried to beat him and was escorted out of Wankulukuku by Police.

The lanky tactician has since come out and claimed he will be at Express until the person who hired him shows him the exit.
Ssemwogerere has been in charge of Express since February when he replaced Kefa Kisala, in the wake of the club’s 2-0 home loss against Police FC.
Under him, the Red Eagles have played 17 League and Cup games, winning 7, drawing 5 and losing 5.
In the League, Ssemwogerere has overseen only five victories in 13 games, losing 5 and drawing the other three.
With KK’s intervention, it looks liekly that Ssemwogerere will remain the club’s head coach at least for now.
