StarTimes Uganda Premier League
Vipers Vs BUL
St Mary’s Stadium
@4pm
Defending champions Vipers SC host Jinja based club BuL in one of the eight last StarTimes Uganda Premier League games on Saturday.
Vipers will finish second after losing the title race to rivals KCCA FC and will miss a chance to represent Uganda in continental club competitions next season.
Like Vipers, Bul has nothing plenty to play for especially after beating Mbarara City to go into top five but winning a second straight game would be a bonus for Peter Onen’s charges.
The Venoms come into this match having to play for home pride and also completing a double over Bul FC.
Team News
Yayo Lutimba will start at left back after playing a whole 90 minutes against Paidha on Wednesday.
Moses Waiswa, Geofrey Wasswa and Halid Lwaliwa are out with injuries.
Abraham Ndugwa, Tito Okello and Joseph Janjali could feature for Ouma’s side to help the team on the striking line.
BUL is still missing long term injury casualties Joshua ‘Letti’ Lubwama and right back Farouk Banga.
However, the rest of the crop is available for selection with goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo expected to start in between the goal posts.
Right back Umar Mukobe, left back Richard Matovu, Willis Otong or Musa Walangalira and skipper Jimmy Kulaba will form the defensive line.
Yunus Sibira and Patrick Sembuya will be preferred partnership in central defensive midfield as Daniel Shabena plays in front of them.
Match facts
Michael Nam Ouma’s boys thumped their opponent 3-1 in Njeru with Dan Sserunkuma, Duncan Sseninde and Tito Okello getting on the score sheet and a repeat of this performance is what the coach will be demanding from his side.

These two clubs have played each other for five times and Vipers defeating BUL in the most encounters.
