Uganda Cranes will take on Ivory Coast in one of two friendlies lined up before the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt.
The development was confirmed by the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) on Monday morning through Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre.
“We must put value to every moment we spend here in Abu Dhabi, Desabre was quoted as saying.
“The intensity of the training is picking up and that calls for high levels of total discipline.
“We must prepare very well for the tournament and that is why we have organized two friendlies for the team on 9th and 15th June against very good teams.

The Cranes will first take on Turkmenistan, a small Arab nation in the UAE, on Sunday, 09th of June.
The Match will be played behind closed doors at the New York University Play grounds in Abu Dhabi.
From there, they will take on Ivory Coast the following Saturday, before flying to Egypt.
It is believed the Ivory Coast Friendly will take place in Abidjan.
The Ugandas Cranes are currently in Abd Dhabi as they continue preparations for the 2019 AFCON finals.
On Sunday, two more players, Kizito Luwaga and Salim Jamal, joined camp to take the tally of those present to 19.
Abdu Lumala and Alexis Bbakka vwho ply their trade in Sweden are expected to arrive today (Monday).
The team will hold only one training session on Monday before resuming the following day.
