WANDEGEYA – After a disappointing start to the 2019 Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA), National Basketball League (NBL), Betway Power look to be picking up pace.
Arnold Lando’s side started the season with only one victory from their first four games but lately, they have now gone on a four game winning run that has seen them improve their record to 6-4.,
Having finished second last season, after falling to six time defending champions City Oilers in the playoff final, Power are still having a below-per season thus far.
The 96-66 victory over Kampala University (KU) Eagles last Friday, in their last game, was a testament of how good Power can get on a particular day, and they will be hoping to replicate the form that has seen them win all of their last four games.
“It feels good to be on a winning run at the moment especially after starting slowly, says Power’s Geoffery Soro ahead of the game.
“After the three loses in the first four game, we all had to check ourselves and that is what we did.
“Thankfully, our winning touch is back and we will be out to make it a perfect 5 in 5 against Ndejje.

Lango’s side will be hoping Paul Odong recovers from injury in time for Wednesday’s game. McGyver like he is commonly known as missed the win over Kampala University last time out.
As Power eye another victory, Ndejje will be desperate to snap their current winless run.
The University side has lost all of their last three games, going down to City Oilers, KIU Titans and Warriors.
With all those three losses coming against sides in the same caliber as Power, it is only fair to say that Walker Abedi’s side need to be worried.
