
BULOBA – Budding rally star Rajiv Ruparelia returns to the scene on Sunday, June 9 morning for the Federation of Motor Sport in Uganda (FMU) Forest Park Sprint.
The 1.7 Km double circuit track in Buloba, Mityana Rd, will have two cars start at once and will have Rajiv up against tested drivers including former national rally champion Arthur Blick Jr, Ponsiano Lwakataka and Jonas Kansiime in the first sprint on the national championship calendar.
Ravij returned an impressive second on his debut during the Autocross championship in Sisa, Entebbe two weeks ago.
Mr. Charles Ssemengo, the clerk to the course says competition will be tight and application of extra skills will help competing drivers to finish line.
After marking an impressive debut, Rajiv who is rallying under his ‘RR–Double Trouble’ team and cruising his newly launched VW Polo Proto, imported from Poland is the man fans are waiting to see how he performs on the tight and slippery track in Buloba in his second event of the year.

Navigated by Ronnie Walia, Rajiv’s team ‘RR – Double Trouble’ is managed by veteran rally driver Dipu Rupareria while Mike Mwangi is the Chief Mechanic.
