WAKISO – Wakiso Giants have announced the capture of tactician Kefa Kisala.
Kisala replaces Ibrahim Kirya who left the role following the expiration of his contract.
Kirya had initially signed a one year deal with the Purple Sharks in 2018. He guided them to promotion from the FUFA Big League before agreeing to end his tenure.
For Kisala who put pen to paper on a two year deal, comes in after spending over 5 months without a job.
His last stint was at Express FC which lasted for just over six months before he was fired this past February.
Kisale will be assisted by former JMC Hippos and Nyamityobora FC head coach James Odoch.

The former Express FC midfielder comes with loads of experience, having previously handled a number of top-flight clubs including Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), BUL FC and Express FC.
At least 20 coaches are understood to have applied for the job that was advertised last week.
Kisala beat among others a legion of local and foreign based coaches including those with higher qualifications as UEFA Pro and UEFA A.
Some of the local based coaches who had duly expressed interest in the job were, former Uganda Cranes head coach Moses Basena, Douglas Bamweyana and Simon Peter Kirumira.
Among the foreign coaches who had applied were two former Vipers head coaches Javier Martinez and Jorge Da Costa and many others.
Kisala will usher Wakiso into their debut season after sealing promotion to the top-ties in May.
