The Uganda Men’s football national team, the Cranes have been drawn in group B of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
This was revealed on Thursday evening at the Meriott Hotel Zamalek in Cairo, Egypt where the draws were conducted.
In their group, Uganda will tussle it out with Burkina Faso, Malawi and the winner between South Sudan and Seychelles.
Uganda was initially placed in pot two of the draws with Burkina Faso in pot A.
The group looks easier compared to one the Cranes topped on their way to AFCON 2019 in Egypt.
Then, they were drawn alongside East Africa neighbours Tanzania, Cape Varde and Lesotho.
It is highly anticipated that Uganda will negotiate their way to the finals tournament that will be played in Cameroon.
The top two from each group makes it to the finals.
