-Warriors vs Betway Power (Men)
-Nkumba Lady Marines vs A1 Challenge (Women)
WANDEGEYA – YMCA Courts in Wandegeya will be the place to be on Friday evening as the FUBA National Basketball League returns.
Two heavyweights in Warriors and Betway Power will be in action in one of the two games to be played.
Warriors have been in scintillating form going into the game and will be the bookmaker’s favourites for the contest.
Ronnie Mutebi’s side are one of only two sides (the other being City Oilers) to win all of their second-round matches and are currently on a four game-winning run.
In the period, they have defeated Ndejje (72-41), Our Saviour (95-54), Kampala University (101-39) and Sharing Youth (79-56).
However, all those victories have come against sides that Warriors are expected to beat up on and the clash with Power will be their first major second-round test.
“This is a major test for us and how far we have progressed since the first round. Said Warriors head coach Ronnie Mutebi before the game.
“We have been on a good run lately and they (Power) have been struggling a bit but we respect the fact that they are one of the big boys in the game and we will try to be at our absolute best so as to win the game.
“All in all, it will be a contest that is good to watch as i expect a tight affair.
True to Mutebi’s words, Power have not been in the best of form lately.
The 77-85 loss to JKL Dolphins on Wednesday was their 5th already this season and they will be looking to bounce back as soon as possible.

When the two sides met in the first round, Warriors were 92-62 victors over Power in the game played at YMCA Courts back in May.
Heading into the game, Warriors’ record stands at 13-02 while Power are 10-05.
In the first contest of the day, 5th placed Nkumba Lady Marines take on 9th placed A1 Challenge in the Women’s’ division.
Fresh from a 65-54 victory over KIU Rangers, the Marines have won two and lost as many in the second round.
For A1, they defeated JKL Dolphins 49-48 in a thriller last week but it was their first victory in the second round.
The victory over JKL was huge for A1 as they ended the former’s unbeaten start to the League this season and they (A1) will be motivated to pick a 5th victory of the current campaign.
Wednesday’s results in the FUBA NBL
-Sharing Youth 56-79 Warriors
-Betway Power 77-85 JKL Dolphins
