KITENDE – Vipers SC have completed the signing of Onduparaka FC captain Rashiid Toha for an undisclosed fee.
The lanky defender has put pen to paper on a three-year deal that will see him feature for the venoms until 2022.
The Venoms confirmed Toha’s signing via their official website on Friday, July 12th 2019.
“Toha officially became a Venom after penning down a three-year deal ending his four-year relationship with the Caterpillars,” reads a statement on Viper’s website.
The 21-year-old central defender by default, has been at Onduparaka since 2014 and was instrumental for the Caterpillars as they gained promotion to the top tier in 2016.
After Muhammad Shaban departed for KCCA FC in 2018, Toha was named captain a role he has executed up until his departure.

Upon signing for Vipers SC on Friday, Toha expressed his delight to be joining a ‘wonderful club’.
“I am excited to join this wonderful club, this is a huge stride in my career. I am ambitious and focused on winning titles here at Vipers,” said Toha.
The former Onduparaka skipper added; “This is the right place for me to be after many years at my former club, it is a really good feeling.”
Vipers struggled with defensive options last season as many of their starters were sidelined for huge spells and the arrival of Toha will be a welcome boost to the Venoms’ fraternity as they bid to dethrone reigning StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions, KCCA FC.
He becomes the fourth signing for the club after the arrival of Paul Willa, Siraje Ssentamu and Allan Kayiwa in the offseason.
