
KAMPALA – Wakiso Giants continued their offseason spending on Thursday as they completed the signing of another player.
The player in question is Ivan Sebuguzi who is a student at Kampala University.
Sebuguzi’s capture was announced via the club’s official website and Social Media accounts.

“We are delighted to announce that the club has acquired the services of Ivan Sebuguzi from Kampala University. Read a statement on Wakiso Giants official website.
Sebuguzi is understood to have signed a three-year deal with the purple Sharks that will see him feature for them at least until 2022.
Moments after signing for Wakiso, the 19-year-old described the move as a ‘dream’.
“It’s a dream come true, Sebuguzi noted.
“I have always wanted to play in the Uganda Premier League and when a chance came from Wakiso Giants, I didn’t have to look elsewhere.
“They are a young club with big ambitions and will probably help me grow my career.
“The professionalism and working environment have made me feel at home already and I can’t wait for the season to get started.
Sebuguzi becomes the third signing for Wakiso this offseason, following the capture of Derrick Emukule from Ndejje University and free-agent Aggrey Madoi.
When as about their new signing, Wakiso Giants head coach, Kefa Kisala was full of praise for Subuguzi.
“He is a player with a lot of potential and we believe he fits into our philosophy, said Kisala.
“He is young, energetic and willing to learn and will be a good mixture with the experienced personnel we already have in the position.
Wakiso Giants are preparing to take part in their first ever StarTimes Uganda Premier League season after they were promoted form the Big League this year.
