KAMPALA – Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC have on Tuesday morning confirmed the signing of defender John Revita.
Revita joins Mike Mutebi’s side from Express FC and is understood to have signed a two-year deal with the Kasasiros.
His signing was confirmed via a video on KCCA FC’s official Twitter handle.
“Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen. WELCOME our new signing.” Read the caption on a video consisting of Revita.

Revita comes in as a free agent after his contract with Express FC expired at the back end of last season.
Before joining Express in 2018, he was at Congolese side Bukavu FC.
His signing comes as no surprise as KCCA have been short of quality at the back after the departure of Timothy Awany.
Awany who captained the side last season ran out of contract and decided not to renew his stay at Lugogo. He is understood to be on the verge of joining Israel side Ashdod FC.
After an impressive showing by Awany at Lugogo, Revita comes in knowing that he has huge boots to fill at the StarTimes Stadium.

However, he has already proved that he is equipped with the necessary tools to flourish in KCCA FC’s style as his elegant style of play saw him stand out at Express last season and also earned him a spot in the Uganda Cranes’ set-up.
Revita has most recently been a starter in the Uganda Cranes CHAN team that completed a double over Somalia in the first round of the CHAN 2020 qualifiers.
He is a player who is comfortable on the ball and one blessed with leadership skills. With all that said, Revita is expected to hit the ground running.
In this offseason, Revita becomes the third major signing for KCCA FC after securing Erisa Ssekisambu from Gor Mahia and Simon Serunkuma from Tooro United.
KCCA FC’ first competitive game of the season will take place on Tuesday away to Wakiso Giants FC in the Pilsner Super 8, a match that Revita is not expected to take part in.
Last season, the Kasasiros won the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, their third title in four years.
As a consequence, they will take part in the CAF Champions League 2019/2020.
