Vipers SC left-back Dan Bilikwalira has been sent out on loan once again.
The Buganda captain who spent last season on loan at Bright Stars will spend the whole of next season at newly-promoted Kyetume FC.
Bilikwalira who was once the first choice at Kitende fell out of favour at Kitende after the emergency of Aziz Kayondo. With Yayo Lutimba also in the fold, it meant that Bilikwalira was third in the pecking order, prompting him to seek solace at Bright Stars last season.
However, with Lutimba now out, Vipers signed former Lweza and SC Villa left-back Farouk Musisi, again putting Bilikwalira third in the pecking order and once again going out on another season-long loan deal.
Last season, he was the top-assisting defender in the league, managing 7 assists throughout.
He has so far won two league titles and the Uganda Cup, all coming in his time at Vipers. Last season, he and Bright Stars lost the cup final to Proline FC at the Masaka Recreation Grounds.
At Kyetume, he joins Joel Mutakubwa, Sam Ssenkomi, Baker Buyala, Julius Ntambi, Isaac Kirabira as the other new signings at the club.
Kyetume will open their debut campaign in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League against SC Villa on Thursday 29th August at Mandela National Stadium.
