
Uganda Cranes star Farouk Miya is on the move once again.
Miya who spent last at Croatian side Gorcia has completed a move to Turkish top-tier side Kanyaspor Kulubu.
He is understood to have signed a three-year deal that will see him at the Konya based side until 2022.
Miya has been a journeyman of sorts ever since joining Standard Liege from Vipers SC in 2016.
In a period of three years, the 21-year old has played for four different sides, including Liege, Royal Excel Mouscron, Sebail and Gorcia.
Upon signing for Konyaspor, Miya came out and highlighted his admiration for the club.
“I admired the stadium and facilities. As soon as I stepped into the club, I realized what a great community it was, Noted Miya
“I signed for three years here today. During this period, I want to make a great contribution to Konyaspor with my performance.
Miya watched the Kanyaspor’s first game of the season on Sunday against MKE Ankaragücü that ended 0-0 and is impressed by the side he has joined.
“I had the chance to watch the first game of the season, said the 21-year old.
“We have a very high quality and very strong team. I am sure that I will adapt to the team in a short time and will do my best to the end.”
At his new club, Miya will don shirt 21 which was handed to him by Kanyaspor manager Senkin Ozdil.
