
KAMPALA – KCCA FC have come out to confirm all the players that will not be with them in the 2019/20 season.
The list was published on the Kasasiro’s official website on Friday night.
Goalkeeper Tom Ikara, defenders Bernard Muwanga and Walter Ochora and Hassan Matovu have been sent out on loan.
Ikara has since joined Mbarara City FC, Muwanga has gone to Proline FC, Ochora has agreed to play for Bul FC while Matovu returns to Proline where he spent last season.
Speaking about the loaned players, head coach Mike Mutebi had this to say;
“The loan period should be one where the players reflect and work on a few things, said Mutebi.
“This does not mean they are leaving but rather should use the period to gain playing time and come back stronger than before.
“We have sent them to clubs where we feel they can continue growing. ”
KCCA FC have also come out to confirm that Musa Esenu and Muwadda Mawejje were released from their contracts.
Esenu is now at Bul FC while Muwadda signed a three year deal with StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants.
On the same day, the reigning league champions announced that Isaac Kirabira was no longer their players after seeing out his contract.
Kirabira who joined KCCA from SC Villa played only four games last season.
