NAMBOOLE – URA FC will host Proline FC in the Pilsner Super 8 game set to be played on Wednesday, August 14th, at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
The two sides are currently playing placement game in the competition after respective losses in the last 8.
URA FC lost 0-2 away to Mbarara City while Proline went down 0-1 at home to Vipers SC.
This game provides each with a chance to qualify for the 5th/6th place match where they will take on Wakiso Giants who defeated Tooro United 2-1 on Tuesday.
URA FC will head into the game as slight favourites but will have to be worry of Proline FC.
“We lost to Mbarara last time out and we very much want to return to winning ways, says URA FC head coach Sam Simbwa.
“It was a difficult game for us but we learned alot from it and hopefully we collect out mistakes against Proline.
“They are a good team that is playing continental football this season and also have a good coach but I am confident mya players will qin the game for us.”
URA FC will go into the game without several players. Hassan Kalega, Anywer Ntege, Joseph Sseruyidde and Joackiam Ojera will not feature in the game as they are all currently injured.
Kigongo, Ibrahim Dada and Mutyaba are doubtful but have chances of playing.
The good news is that the three players who were with the national team including captain Shafik Kagimu, James Alitho and Patrick Mbowa have all returned and expected to take part. All the three missed the loss to Mbarara City.
For Proline, they are expected to make several changes to their team as they look to freshen up the team ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup return leg away to Master Securities.

Alfred Leku, Hamis Diego Kizza and Ibrahim Bonyo who did not feature in the Confederations Cup first leg win last Saturday are all expected to feature.
