
Tadeo Lwanga completed a move to Egyptian top flight side Tanta SC on Sunday night.
Lwanga who has been a free agent after running down his deal with Vipers SC at the back end of last season, signed a three-year contract with the Tanta based club.
Less than 24 hours after sealing his move, the midfielder has come out to bid goodbye to the Venoms.
The former Vipers captain’s farewell massage was posted on his faceboom page, noting that it was a tough decision to move away from Kitende.

“This has been a tough decision to make despite being offered a new contract by the club.
“I have experienced some incredible times at Vipers SC and i have met friends that will remain a life time. I leave with memories that will stay with me forever from my time at the club.”
Lwanga also came out to thank Vipers’ management who have been him for the past two years.
“There will be the opportunity to talk properly when the time is right, but right now i would like to thank everyone at the club for everything over the past 2 seasons, in particular the club president Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa, Mr. Sekankya Simon, CEO Mr Lwanga Peter, the technical director Eddie Butindo, Dr Mathias Kassaga and all the coaches i have worked with at Vipers SC starting from Coach Miguel Da Costa, Coach Golola Edward, Coach Micheal Ouma, Coach Olaba Tom, Coach Martinez Javier, Coach Ssali, Coach Wasswa and the fitness gems Ram Nyakana and Ssali Edward. Lwanga spent two seasons at Vipers, captaining the team in his last.
He won the 2017/18 league title with the Venoms and also helped them to a second place finish last season.
Before joining Vipers, Tadeo was Captain of SC Villa who had secured his services two year prior, from rivals Express FC.
Lwanga is also a full Uganda Cranes international having made his debut in 2016.
He was part of the Cranes team that reached the last 16 at the just concluded AFCON 2019 in Egypt.
At the finals, Lwanga featured in two of Uganda’s four games, coming off the bench in both.

His latest game for the Cranes came in a 3-1 win over Somalia in the CHAN 2020 qualifiers. Tadeo scored the third goal in the game.
