The Uganda Cranes have on Friday morning departed for Kenya ahead of their International friendly game against the Harambe Stars on Sunday afternoon.
A contingent of 30 personnel including 18 players and 12 officials flew out of the country at 6am via Uganda Airlines.
With captain Denis Onyango absent from the trip, it was confirmed that Emmanuel Okwi will captain the team and deputized by defender Timothy Awany. The other foreign-based players on the team are Khalid Aucho, Allan Kyambadde, Tadeo Lwanga and Kizito Luwagga.
The local-based players trained on Thursday morning at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo in preparation for the game.
