Assistant referee Hakim Mulindwa was the center of attraction as KCCA FC drew 1-1 with Bright Stars in the Uganda Premier League on Saturday.
Mulidwa disallowed a clear goal by Bright Stars in the first half much to the visitors disgust.
Ronald Ssempla headed the ball passed the goal-line and through the loose net but Mulindwa signaled for just a goal kick.
It was the highlight of a first half that would eventually end goalless.
However, the visitors rallied and struck three minutes into the second half through Joseph Janjali who headed past the stranded Charles Lukwago.
After losing to Tooro United on Wednesday, the Kasasiro were in desperate need for victory but could not win on the day.
Substitute Steven Sserwadda saved their blushes bundling home a Mustapha Kizza for the equalizing goal.
Mike Mutebi’s side dominated in search for a winner which eluded them eventually.
Allan Okello came closest to turning the game on its head but his curling effort went inches wide of the target.
KCCA FC who have now failed to win any of their last 4 competitive fixtures, move to 7 points from 4 games.
For Bright Stars, they are still without victory in the league and have so far accumulated 4 points from 7 games.
In their next fixtures, KCCA FC are away to BUL FC while Bright Stars host Tooro United.
