Vipers SC maintained their unbeaten start to the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League as they defeated Police FC 3-1 on Wednesday.
The Venoms, however, had to do it the hard way as they were required to come from a goal down to register a fourth victory of the season.

The Cops got off to the best possible start as Kaweesa headed home a Yusuf Ssozi cross in the 27th minute.

Paul Willa directed what looked like a weak shot towards goal and Hillary Jomi who was in Police’s goal, some how made no attempts to stop it.
Just before the break, Halid Lwaliwa headed in Vipers’ second to turn the game on its head.
Watambala then turned from provider to scorer as he a calmly slotted in past Davis Mutebi who had earlier replaced Jomi in between the sticks.
Vipers could have scored more but Fahad Bayo headed wide of the target before Willa saw an effort cleared off the line by Tony Kiwalazi.
At the other end, Haliwa was also on hand to clear Ssozi’s goal bound effort before it crossed thw white-wash.
