Mighty Arena, Jinja
Tuesday, 12-11-2019
Boban Zirintusa scored a stoppage time penalty as Busoga United and Maroons FC drew 1-1 at the Mighty Arena on Tuesday.
Zirintusa, a summer signing got the better of his nerves with his 5th strike of the season and in process, denied Maroons all three points o the day.
Earlier, Steven Mukwala had handed what looked like a pricless lead as he poked home the opener 20 minutes from time.
Mukwala who is on loan from now moves onto 7 goals for the season, one behind leading score Fahad Bayo (8).
The result means Busoga United drop into 7th with 17 points from 14 games.
For Maroons they also drop into 6th with 18 points from 12 games.
In their next games, Busoga will be away to URA FC while Maroons host Wakiso Giants.
