It has been a horrible start to the campaign for Manchester United and their are no clear indications that it will end soon.
Last week, they lost 1-0 away to Bournemouth, their 4th loss already in just 11 games.
They will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
However, Brighton look to be in good form lately as they have defeated both Everton and Norwich City in their last two games.
Going into Sunday’s game, Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is a doubt after sustaining a foot injury in the Europa League win against Partizan Belgrade. Harry Maguire will also be assessed while Victor Lindelof may return from a back injury, but Ashley Young is suspended.
Brighton defender Adam Webster has been ruled out after being substituted last weekend with an ankle injury. Leandro Trossard could start after scoring as a substitute versus Norwich.
Manchester United have never lost in 11 previous home meetings with Brighton in all competitions, winning nine and drawing two. Brighton have won two of their last three games against United, having triumphed in just one of the previous 18 in all competitions (D5, L12). The home side has won all four Premier fixtures, and each victory has been by a one-goal margin.
Manchester United have won just three times in 16 Premier League matches (D6, L7). However, they are unbeaten in 41 home games in November since losing 2-1 against Chelsea in 1996, a Premier League record for a single month (W34, D7). They are one of only three Premier League teams yet to score from a corner or free-kick this season. United have kept two clean sheets in 22 league matches. The Red Devils have been fouled 156 times in 2019-20, more than any other Premier League side prior to the weekend. They have had only four different Premier League goalscorers this campaign, a joint-league low alongside Crystal Palace.
Wolves vs Aston Villa

Villa are unbeaten in nine top-flight away games against Wolves since a 3-1 defeat in May 1978 (W6, D3). It is Wolves’ longest top-flight winless run at home against a single opponent. A much-changed Villa beat a youthful Wolves in a League Cup tie on 30th October. Villa haven’t won twice in a season against Wolves since 2003-04.
Wolves central defender Ryan Bennett could start against Villa after making his return from a groin injury as a late substitute on Thursday. Morgan Gibbs-White has a lingering back problem and is a fitness doubt.
Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish is still feeling pain in his calf and is rated 50-50 to be involved on Sunday. Frederic Guilbert should overcome a dead leg to keep his place, but Jota won’t be considered despite returning to training after hernia surgery.
Liverpool vs Man City

The two best sides in England will face off on Sunday evening it what may prove to be a title decider despite coming so early in the season.
Liverpool come into the game as leaders and have six more points than City.
If Liverpool win the contest and move 9 clear of their rivals, they will indeed be clear favourites to win a first title since 1991.
However, a win for City away to the Reds, will most definitely see City as favourites to once again win the Premier League despite just climbing into second at the end of the day.
Both sides play and attacking brand of football and surely this will be a cracker of sorts.
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson will not face Liverpool, having failed to recover from the muscular problem that led to his substitution against Atalanta in midweek. He will be replaced by Claudio Bravo, who was sent off in that game, while David Silva is not expected to be fit.
Liverpool pair Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk, who missed training earlier in the week, are available. Joel Matip, Nathaniel Clyne and Xherdan Shaqiri remain out.
Liverpool have gone 16 top-flight games unbeaten against City at Anfield, with their solitary home defeat in the past 28 meetings coming in May 2003. Manchester City’s 16-match winless streak away to Liverpool is their longest in the Premier League against any opponent (D5, L11). However, City have only lost one of the last five Premier League meetings (W2, D2). They could win consecutive top-flight fixtures against Liverpool for the first time since a run of four from 1935 to 1937.
A Liverpool win would ensure they equal the English top-flight record of 11 wins and a draw after 12 matches of a season. Five sides have achieved the feat, including Liverpool in 1990 and Manchester City twice. Jurgen Klopp’s side are unbeaten in 28 Premier League matches, winning 19 of the past 20. Their only defeat in 50 league fixtures came against Manchester City in January. They have not lost against the reigning Premier League champions at Anfield since a 1-0 defeat by Manchester United 12 years ago (W6, D5). The Reds have gone 45 home matches without defeat, the second longest unbeaten run in Premier League history. However, they could concede in a sixth successive league game at Anfield, which would be their longest run without a clean sheet at home since October 2014. They have only lost one of their 22 home league fixtures against established top-six teams under Klopp (W12, D9, L1). Liverpool have recovered an unrivalled 10 points from losing positions this season. They have trailed at half-time in three successive league games for the first time since 2012. Sadio Mane has scored 17 goals in his last 17 league appearances at Anfield. Jordan Henderson is one short of becoming the sixth player to make 250 Premier League appearances for Liverpool.
Manchester City have won 11 of their past 12 Premier League away games, scoring 30 goals during that period. They are the division’s top scorers this season with 34 goals, and have only failed to score in one of their past 33 league fixtures. City have lost two of their opening 11 league fixtures – no team managed by Pep Guardiola has suffered three top-flight defeats before the 15th match of a season. Pep Guardiola has lost seven of his 17 games against Jurgen Klopp in all competitions, more than he has against any other manager. Sergio Aguero has made seven Premier League appearances at Anfield without scoring, his longest wait for a goal at any stadium. He has only had two attempts on target in those seven games. Aguero has nine goals from 10 shots on target in the Premier League this season. His next Premier League appearance will be his 250th in the division. Raheem Sterling is one short of 200 Premier League starts. The first 77 of them were for Liverpool.
