Onduparaka FC 7-1 Kyetume FC

Onduparaka FC produced quite a performance on Friday afternoon as they powered past Kyetume FC.
The Caterpillars beat their visitors 7-1 at the Green Light Stadium in Arua in one of two games played on the day.
This is the biggest victory registered in the top flight this season.
It was a 7-star performance by Onduparaka FC with Julius Malingumu and Jamal Malish helping themselves to a hat trick each. Vitalis Tabu scored the other goal.
Deo Issejja scored what proved to be Kyetume’s consolation.
Onduparaka started brightly, asking most of the early questions.
They were relentless in their attacks and were eventually rewarded in the 20th minute as Malingumu opened the scoring.
Three minutes to the break, Issejja levelled matters for the visitors to see the scores at 1-1 at half time.
Six minutes into the second half, Malish restored Onduparaka’s lead.
He then added a second for him self and a third for the home side.
A minute past the hour mark, it was 4-1 with Malingumu scoring his second of the day.
Six minutes later, it turned ugly for Kyetume with Malish completing his hat trick.
Vitalis Tabu added another from the spot on 77 minutes, moments before Malingumu also completed his treble.
Kyetume looked dejected and lost especially in the second half and their frustrating was compounded by their team Doctor getting booked with 4 minutes from time.
This is Onduparaka’s biggest victory since they were promoted to the top flight in 2016. It sees them climb back into 3rd spot with 23 points.
For Kyetume who are still enjoying their debut season in the top flight, they have now lost 5 of their opening 12 games and slip into 8th on the log with 16 points.
In their next games, Onduparaka are away to Mbarara City FC while Kyetume FC hosts Wakiso Giants FC.
