Tooro United FC vs Express FC
St. Paul National Seminary, Kabalore
Saturday, 16-11-2019 @4pm
Express FC will be attempting to return to winning ways when they take on Tooro United on Saturday afternoon at the St. Paul National Seminary in Kabalore.
The Red Eagles have picked just a point in their last two games, drawing 2-2 against Maroons and losing 3-0 to KCCA FC.
The two results shade a clear picture of how the Red Eagles season has turned out so far as they have been extremely inconsistent.
Goerge Ssemwogerere’s side has won just four games so far and won consecutive encounters on one occasion.
Having struggled at the wrong end of the table for two successive campaigns, the Red Eagle faithful were hoping for better this time around but by the look of things, fortunes are yet to take a different route.
The Frank duo of Kalanda and Ssenyondo has been the brightest spots in the team alongside Captain Disan Galiwango. The trio has been so pivotal for the Red Eagles, scoring 15 of the team’s 18 goals so far and will be the ones to bank on if Express is to get a positive result in Kabalore.
The Red Eagles come into the contest as favorites against a side that has literally hit rock-bottom even before the season reaches mid-way.
Tooro United has traditionally been a hard side to beat but they have been woeful on and off the pitch this season.
In the last six days, both their CEO and PRO have resigned to take the total to three personnel to have walked away from the club after head coach Wasswa Bbosa did likewise at the start of the month.
The results on the pitch have also been poor with the Car Dealers winning just one of their past 6 games.
Currently, under Eric Ndifuna and Sam Kawalya, it will be sort of a miracle if Tooro United pick up three points on Saturday.
