BUL FC vs URA FC
FUFA Technical Center, Njeru
Wednesday, 15-01-2020 @4:30pm
URA FC will be hoping to maintain its fine run of form when they take on BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
The Tax Collectors who punched below their weight for most the first round look to have turned the corner currently.
They are currently on a five-match unbeaten run and climbing up the table steadily.
In their latest fixture, they defeated SC Villa 2-0 in what was their opening second round fixture.
The win over the record league champions was their second on the trot after ending the first-round with victory over Proline FC.
Sitting in 7th, Sam Simbwa’s side will know that that is still not good enough and will be targeting three more points to maintain their charge up the standings.
However, they have it all to do if they are to topple a BUL side that is desperate to return to winning ways.
After a brilliant start to the 2019/20 season, one that saw them sit as high as second at some stage, BUL’s fortunes are starting to change.
Peter Onen’s side are now on a three-game winless run and sit six points behind second-placed KCCA FC.
Having drawn both of their last two second-round games, BUL lost 1-0 away to Bright Stars last week, their third loss of the season.
It will be interesting to see who comes out on top at the end of the day as both sides are capable of taking all three points.
