Mighty Arena, Jinja
Saturday, 01-02-2020 @4pm
The City of Jinja will once again speak on language-football as Busoga United and BUL FC do battle at the Mighty Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The two may not be among the biggest sides in the country but are big time rivals and each takes pride in getting the better of the other.
BUL lost the first meeting this season 3-0 to Busoga and will feel like it is time for revenge.
For Busoga, their aim will be completing a first ever top flight double over their eternal rivals.
BUL are desperate for victory as they are yet to register three points this year.
Three successive losses and a draw is all that they could manage ib their opening four second round games.
However, the draw came in the first game under new head coach Arthur Kyesimira who was brought in to replace Peter Onen.
Currently in 6th spot, victory for BUL can see them climb as high as 3rd spot.
Busoga on the other hand have started the second round in good form.
The Students have won three and lost just one of their opening for games.
However, the loss came in their last fixture as they went down 2-1 away to Onduparaka FC.
With a loss in their last game, Busoga will indeed want to register a victory against BUL on Saturday.
Three points for Busoga will see them move level on points with BUL FC in the standings.
