Express FC 0-1 Mbarara City FC
Kavumba Recreation Grounds, Wakiso
Sunday, 02-02-2020
George Ssemwogerere’s future as Express FC continues to remain uncertain.
The gaffer who is under pressure to throw in the towel at the Red Eagles could only look on Sunday as his side lost 1-0 at home to Mbarara City FC at Kavumba.
Makweth Wol scored the only goal of the contest, netting 9 minutes into the second half.
Just like in the loss to Villa earlier in the week, Express played second best on the day and had custodian Mathais Muwanga to thank for ensuring the score line remains respectable.
This is Express’s 11th loss of the season and it sees them remain on 21 points and now 13th on the log.
For Mbarara, they climb into 8th with 26 points from 20 games.
In their next fixtures, Express will be away to Onduparaka while Mbarara hosts Police FC.
