KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi suggested that it will not be an easy contest against Bukedea when the two sid meet in the Uganda Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The Kasasiros are the joint-record holders of the competition and will be hoping to maintain their dreams of an 11th crown.
However, the coach says he looks forward to a tough contest.
“We are up for a perfect test and it will be a good game for the players and fans, noted Mutebi.
“People could think they [Bukedea] will be easy because they do not know much about it. But we know the problems we can have, and the problems we can cause as well.
“We need to show the hunger from the start and think of this test before Vipers next week.
“The task at hand is Bukedea and we have to get done with that before we can think of anything else.”
The Uganda Cup may be KCCA’s most realistic chance to winning silverware ware this season as the league may be difficult to win.
Mutebi’s side sit second on the log but are five point adrift of top spot.
Their next game is away to Vipers and they will know that a loss to the Venoms will all but end their hopes to a third successive UPL title.
Going into Saturday’s game, Julius Poloto, Samuel Kato, Sadat Anaku, Nicholas Kasozi, Nunda Jackson and Jurua Hassan are all out with injuries.
The positive is that Steven Sserwada, Muzamiru Mutyaba, and John Odumegwu have recovered from injuries and are part of the match-day squad.
Sadam Juma, Simon Serunkuma and Eric Ssenjobe are other players that have been out of action for a while but are now part of the team’s full training sessions.
