BUL FC vs Onduparaka FC
FUFA Technical Center, Njeru
Wednesday, 04-03-2020 @4pm
BUL FC will take on Mbarara City FC at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Wednesday.
The game pits two sides with similar on-field issues at the moment and promises to be an interesting encounter.
At the start of the season, both were performing exceptionally well and had realistic chances of finishing in the top four.
However, a string of poor results recently has left them closer to the the relegation zone than to the top of the league, a situation they will be desperate to put right starting with victory on Wednesday.
BUL FC comes into the game on the back of a 1-0 loss to Mbarara City FC last week.
The defeat to Mbarara followed a surprising victory at home to SC Villa 10 days ago in what was their first win in 10 competitive games.
After Peter Onen was fired in January, Arthur Kyesimira took charge of the side but things have not taken the turn that was expected.
Rumors of Kyesimira facing the sack have started surfacing and a loss at home to struggling Onduparaka may see the end of him at the club.
For Onduparaka, they are is sorry state at the moment.
With the club struggling financially and several players departing in the January transfer window, the results too have been extremely poor.
The Arua based side have taken just a single point from a possible 15 in their last 5 encounters.
The team that once sat as high as 3rd at some stage has slumped to 8th, just 9 points away from the relegation zone.
Wednesday’s match at BUL is one the Caterpillars will view as winnable and they will desperate to take all three points and hopefully re-ignite their season.
