Antonio Conte is becoming increasingly irritated with Inter dropping points against mid-table clubs and there’s the risk of it happening again with Torino.
The Nerazzurri picked up one point from the last two rounds, losing to Bologna and held 2-2 by Hellas Verona, both by conceding late goals after taking the lead.
They also fell behind Atalanta into fourth place and the pressure is growing every day. Romelu Lukaku is nursing a knock, so could be rested for the return of Lautaro Martinez and Christian Eriksen, while Alessandro Bastoni and Danilo D’Ambrosio are back from suspension.
Toro know about pressure too, as they were hovering just above the relegation zone after a dismal run of results, including three consecutive defeats.
They broke out of it by fighting back from a goal down to beat Brescia 3-1, as even Simone Verdi is starting to find some confidence. There have to be changes, as Simone Zaza is suspended, but Andrea Belotti remains the focal point of their attack.
Andrea Belotti has found the net in each of his last five Serie A games. Only two players managed six for Torino in the era of three points for a win (Ruggiero Rizzitelli in 1995 and Ciro Immobile in 2014).
