KITENDE – Vipers SC have on Tuesday, July 21 unveiled their technical team for the upcoming season.
Joining head coach Fred Kajoba is two former assistants in Paul Kiwanuka and Francis Mugerwa.
The two have formally worked as assistants to Kajoba and it is understandable as to why the gaffer was eager to bring them on board.
Kiwanuka who was previously in charge of Bright Stars FC will assume the role of Kajoba’s assistant looking to draw upon the experience garnered during the time when the pair worked seamlessly together at the Mwererwe-based club.
Mugerwa joins from Maroons FC where he worked under Douglas Bamweyana.
He has also previously had stints at Onduparaka and Bright Stars FC where he interestingly teamed up with both Kajoba and Kiwanuka at different intervals.

This development completes Vipers coaching staff with; Goalkeeping Coach Ibrahim Mugisha, Fitness Trainer Edward Ssali, Physical & Conditioning coach Ram Nyakana Mpuga, Gym Instructor Ibrahim Kato and Physiotherapist Mathius Kassagga winding up the technical department.
Vipers have also recently beefed up their playing staff with the signings of Disan Galiwango, Ibrahim Orit and Jamil Kalisa.
The Venoms are the current Uganda Premier League champions having been top of the pile when the league was concluded after 25 rounds.
They will be representing Uganda in the CAF Champions League.
