
KAMPALA – KCCA FC are very much intent on reclaiming the Uganda Premier League title.
After losing out to Vipers SC in the recent for the crown, the Kasasiros have gone into the market with intent.
On Sunday night, Mike Mutebi’s side announced their sixth signing of the off-season.
Brian Aheebwa who has previously featured for Mbarara City FC is the player who was unveiled by KCCA FC.
Aheebwa now joins Ashraf Mugume, Charles Lwanga, Stephen Mazengo, Denis Iguma and Bright Anukani as the new players that will be tasked with the role of trying to ensure KCCA are champions again.
The striker is understood to have penned down a three year employment contract and will be at Lugogo until 2023.
He was Mbarara City’s top scorer with 8 goals, last season, one in which he guided them to a 7th place finish.
In signing Aheebwa, the Kasasiros did fend off competition from Vipers SC who were also believed to be interests in the former Nyamityobora FC striker.
KCCA FC finished second last season with 50 points, four adrift of winners Vipers SC.
