Baker Mbowa has been named the new Bright Stars FC head coach.
According to Football256, Mbowa has penned a three-year deal with the Matuga based side.
He replaces Paul Kiwanuka who opted for an assistant role at reigning Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC.
Mbowa was Proline FC head coach for part of last season.
At Proline, he took over from Matia Lule and could not help the Lugogo based side avoid relegation back to the FUFA Big League.
His technical team is yet to be know but they will face a huge task of trying to ensure the Stars maintain their top flight in what may turn out to be a difficult 2020/21 season.
Bright Stars finished 12 last season with a disappointing 29 points from 25 games.
