
KAMPALA – Express FC have completed the signing of Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Juuko.
Juuko’s arrival was announced on Friday, afternoon through a video shared on Express’s official social media platforms.
The classy defender has for a while, been on the Red Eagles Rader but a transfer could not be sealed due to complications in his release forms.
He has been a free agent following the mutual termination of his contract with Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca.
Having let go of over 15 players, the Red Eagles have now signed 14 players and expected to continue in the same vein.
The others that have so far come in include, Denis Otim, Richard Bbosa, Abel Eturude, Baker Sakah, Isaac Nsengiyunva, Yaya Mahad Kakooza, Kiragga Mustafa, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Cryspus Kusima, Charles Musige, John Byamukama, Ibrahim Kayiwa and Faizo Ssekyanzi.
Last season, Bbosa’s side finished 9th with 31 points from 25 games.
