Elche’s opening game in La Liga this season didn’t turn out to be what they were expecting. But the host learned from that 0-3 loss at home that they were unbeaten for the next three fixtures.
The promoted team will play on the back of two away wins and a draw at home, following a 0-2 win on the road against Alaves last time out in the campaign.
Valencia hasn’t been able to make their stand in the league so far this season.
They have descended to the 13th spot from the 10th place last term in the table, courtesy of three losses in five clashes.
The Bats have only one win in the campaign until now and will visit on the back of a 2-1 loss on the road against Villarreal last time out in the schedule.
The visitor has recorded three of the overall four wins. None of their clashes have ended in a draw since 2013. Their last clash was in 2015, which gave a 0-4 away win for the Bats. Both teams have scored in three of the four fixtures. The Bats are unbeaten in the recent three meetings since 2014.
