
LUGOGO – Foreign based striker Derrick Nsibambi has joined the Uganda Cranes squad currently in camp.
Nsibambi joins the 22-man squad of only local-based players that have been training at Lugogo since Monday.
The team is gearing up for the Africa Cup of nations double header against South Sudan, this month.
They will undertake two sessions on Tuesday, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
Uganda prepares to face South Sudan on November 12 at Kitende before a return leg in Nairobi, four days later.
Johnathan McKinstry’s side has collected four points from their opening two games. A draw against Burkina Faso was followed up with a home win verses Malawi.
