KAMPALA – The moniker ‘Draw Masters’ perfectly fits Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants FC in every sense of the word. A haul of eight draws garnered out of their nine games played thus far can back that acclaim.
Whilst Coach Douglas Bamweyana and his charges have chance to exorcise the draw demons when they make a short trip to Wakulukuku to take Express FC on Friday.
The Purple Sharks will be seeking only for their second win of the season – the other being against Mbarara City- however the task will be enormous as coach Douglas Bamweyana acknowledges; “it going to be a big test for us against a very good opponent who is enjoying a very good run at the moment.”
“But we are confident going into the game but we also have to improve on some elements that are not good from our last games.
“It’s generally been a very good week for us in terms of preparations and the nature of opponents that we have.”
The Wakiso based side will have to toil so hard to leave Wakulukuku unscathed.
Coach Wasswa Bbosa has assembled a strong team this season which has been winning games for fun- a feat that has ignited title talk at Wakulukuku
The Five league Champions sit third on the log with 19 points and still unbeaten thus far.
Wasswa Bbosa will hope his marksman Geoffrey Sekanba continues with his goal scoring exploits to put the side on the road to victory.
Victory will lift the Red Eagles on the top of the table standings.
