
KAMPALA — KCCA FC have announced the departure of manager Mike Hillary Mutebi, whom they claimed through a press released had left by mutual consent after five seasons in charge.
Mutebi guided the Kasasiro boys to Three League titles; Two Uganda Cups; Four Super Cups; and One Kagame CECAFA Clubs Championship trophy — making him one of the most successful Manager in the Club’s history in the recent past.
“KCCA FC and the Manager, Mike Hillary Mutebi have today, the 29th of March 2021 agreed by mutual consent to terminate his employment with immediate effect,” the club said in a statement.
“The Club recognizes his immense contribution in making KCCA FC the leading Club in Uganda and wishes him well in his future endeavours,” the statement added.
The Club has announced further that Morley Byekwaso will remain in charge of the first team duties as the Interim Manager.
KCCA FC is placed fourth of the Uganda Premier League table with only 8 wins in 15 games.
